Since their first dance, Aura couldn't help herself to how delectable this man was. She showed her interest in a pinch much to the snapped annoyance of the other. "Enjoying your steak meal, tiger?"
"I'm here on business." A serious tone replied. "Please leave my presence, or at least do your job and fetch me more water." He rudely stirred her cheer, pushing his fork's end at the toughest meat on his plate.
Aura frowned, took her hand off him, gave a puzzled look, returned a stale question: "...You're the health inspector?"
The guest lowered his napkin from his lip. "I'd report your sassymouth if I had the authority. If you're not the one who answered my advertisement, our idle talk is a waste of time." Blinked, gasped, a second lapsed when Aura settled straight in pose, widening eyes to her dreadful mistake. The seated man glowered at her. "Have a seat, Miss Coen. We need to discuss your qualifications."
